- Our Gelati -
Gelato is a tradition in the Mosi family. Stefano’s Nonno used to make it in the summer months, in his Pasticceria in Torino, Italy; in the 1920’s.
Gelato incorporates much less air when it’s churning; creating a denser, and creamier product, allowing the flavours to be more vivid.
Our Gelato is handcrafted at our main location, Mosi Bakery located on West Saanich.
We source locally grown produce from Saanich Peninsula farmers and buy foraged products to make amazing traditional Italian gelato.
- Our Sorbetto -
- We make our Sorbetto completely vegan and gluten free friendly -
Sorbetto is a great alternative if you are wanting to stay away from dairy products, and they are fresh and usually fruity flavours!
We will be expanding our vegan gelato and sorbetto flavour list, once we find the perfect texture and flavour!

It is a lemongrass, seaweed mint tea, in which we steep and use as our liquid base, then we blend in a ton of fresh mint and fresh lime juice.

On Johnson we are surrounded by many other small local shops, and everyone has made us feel at home in our new location!

All our baked goods are made from scratch daily at our West Saanich country store.
We carry a large variety of sweet or savoury croissants, brioche, muffins, cookies, and bread.
We also have a selection of Gluten-Less baked goods and vegan options!

Our main location opened in February 2015.
The building is over 100 years old, and sits at the corner of West Saanich and Spartan rd.
The Bakery is our main location, which is where we produce everything in house by hand.
Our bakery is located upstairs above the cafe, where we make our delicious gelato, croissants, bread, and other pastries!
We also offer a full Breakfast, and Lunch menu available
Monday-Saturday 8am-2pm
Sunday Brunch menu available 9am-3pm
